Menra v1.2 — Live Today

We just shipped v1.2 of Menra. This is the release where the platform stops being "interesting demo" and starts being "the thing your team boots up on Monday morning to see how AI engines are talking about your brand."

Three big shifts land in this version: a clean creator pool surface in the Hub, a real GEO/AEO crawlability bundle on the marketing surface, and a single $69/month subscription replacing the old three-tier pricing model.

What actually shipped

Hub creator pool surface. Pools are the way creators discover briefs from brands they care about and submit work that earns them stablecoin payouts proportional to the citations they generate. v1.2 is the first version where pool browsing, brief detail, and submission are wired end-to-end as a public, indexable surface — not a behind-login experiment. Creators land on /pools, scan briefs by category and reward, and start submitting without friction.

GEO/AEO crawlability bundle. AI crawlers — GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended — read the web differently than Googlebot does. They want clean robots.txt, llms.txt summaries, sitemap.xml that lists the marketing trunk, and JSON-LD structured data on pricing, FAQ, and pillar pages. v1.2 ships all of it. Our GEO explainer walks through what changed and why it matters.

Single $69/month plan + kontör. We retired the legacy STARTER/PRO/BUSINESS three-tier model. The new pricing is straightforward: one subscription at $69/mo gives you 1 brand, 5 prompts, 3 platforms, 1 region, 1 seat, and roughly 100 kontör per month. Kontör is the metered usage unit — every AI search invocation, citation extraction, or content audit pass spends kontör. When you need more capacity, you top up with kontör packs (T1 through T6 tiers — see /pricing for the full ladder). No more guessing whether you're on the right plan; just buy what you'll use.

Why this release matters

Menra has been running production workloads for paying customers since the Phase 02 cutover. What changed in v1.2 isn't the engine — it's the surface area. The product was already tracking citations across nine AI platforms, ranking share-of-voice, and producing the weekly reports brands use to brief their PR teams. v1.2 makes all of that legible to the people who haven't met us yet: the marketer Googling "how to track AI mentions", the creator looking for a brief that pays in USDC, the founder trying to understand whether GEO is hype or a budget line.

Three audiences, three new touchpoints, one pricing model that doesn't punish you for trying.

What we cut

We cut the bilingual case study from this release — it's deferred to Phase 06 because we'd rather ship one excellent narrative than two rushed ones. We cut a per-pillar OG image set for the same reason; v1.2 ships a branded default OG image and a pipeline (scripts/generate-og-images.py) for designer-final images to land later. We cut a designer-final hero animation for the new pillar pages because the editorial quality of the copy matters more than the chrome.

If you want to know what we did NOT cut: the ZeroBug release discipline. Every commit in the four-week run-up to this release passed pnpm exec turbo run typecheck lint test before it could land on main. Plan 08 closed 567 hidden TypeScript errors that turbo's cache had been hiding — we shipped 0/0 ai-api typecheck and 0/0 hub-api typecheck before opening the v1.2 branch.

What's next

Phase 05 — Creator payouts in production. USDC payouts on Solana, $50 minimum threshold, manual review for the first two to three months while we debug edge cases. The Sprint 1 mechanic is shipped; Sprint 2 wires automation, Sprint 3 wires KYC + compliance. If you're a creator, join the pool waitlist and we'll route you the first briefs from brands ramping up around the v1.2 launch.

Phase 06 — Designer-final marketing surface. Per-pillar OG images, the bilingual case study, and a refreshed pricing page treatment. v1.2 is the structural release; v1.3 is the editorial refinement.

Phase 07 — Schema split. When the Prisma schema crosses ~95 models / ~5,000 LOC, we'll split by domain. We're not there yet, so we're not splitting yet — that's discipline, not procrastination.

How to try it

If you're a brand or marketing team, the fastest path is /onboarding — it takes about five minutes to connect a brand, set up your first five prompts, and run your first scan. Your first results land in your dashboard within fifteen minutes.

If you're a creator, head to /pools, pick a brief that fits your beat, and submit a draft. Citations earned through the protocol layer pay out in USDC at the end of each cycle — no platform commission until the brand confirms the citation drove real traffic.

If you're an investor or partner curious about what shipped under the hood, the GEO/AEO crawlability deep-dive is the technical companion piece to this announcement, and our pricing page lays out the kontör economics in detail.

We've been heads-down for four weeks shipping this. We're proud of where it landed. Now go break it — and tell us what we missed.
